Athlete Wins Southwest Florida Sports Award

Join us in congratulating Eduardo Pablo Campos of Collier County, who was recently named the Special Olympics Athlete of the Year at the Southwest Florida Sports Awards in Fort Myers!
Eduardo competes in track and field, flag football, and basketball. He is a team captain and a multiple-time state champion across several sports. As a student at Immokalee High School, Eduardo is a member of their Unified Flag Football, Unified Basketball, and Unified Track and Field teams.
Some of Eduardo's flag football accomplishments include winning the 2024 FHSAA State Championship and the Special Olympics Florida Unified Flag Football Division 1 Senior Level State Championship. In basketball, he led his Immokalee team to the 2025 FHSAA Unified Basketball State Championship and the Unified Basketball State Championship at our State Summer Games. He also took home three silver medals with the Unified Track & Field team, leading them to a 2025 FHSAA Unified Track & Field State runner-up finish.
